FRISCO, Texas -- La'el Collins will do what he says is best for the Dallas Cowboys, but he wants to remain at right tackle in 2018.
"Right now, I'm focused on playing tackle," Collins said during Sunday's Taste of the Cowboys event at The Star, benefiting the North Texas Food Bank. "That's where my mindset is. That's where I'm grinding for."
When the Cowboys signed Collins as an undrafted free agent with a fully guaranteed contract in 2015, they felt he could play guard or tackle, but quickly moved him inside. He started 14 of his first 15 games at left guard over the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
