ORLANDO, Fla. -- Kris Richard said he will remain on the Cowboys' coaching staff for the 2019 season.
Dallas' defensive backs coach and defensive passing game coordinator interviewed for vacant head coaching positions with the Dolphins, Buccaneers and Jets the day after the Cowboys' wild-card playoff win earlier this month.
However, each team ultimately decided to go in a different direction. If offered one of the positions, it seemed a sure bet the opportunity would be too good for Richard to pass up.
But he said Thursday that's not necessarily the case.
"This is a first-class organization," Richard said following the NFC's Pro Bowl practice at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
