Had the Cowboys not traded up in the 2014 draft, Kony Ealy might have been their second round pick. Dallas sent its second and third round selections to Washington in exchange for No. 34 overall, which they used on DeMarcus Lawrence.
Ealy went 26 picks later to the Carolina Panthers.
Now, the Cowboys have both pass rushers.
"It's kind of a good thing that I didn't [get drafted by the Cowboys], obviously now we're both on the same team," Ealy said. "With him and the other guys, it's going to be a fun year for us.
