Justin Durant has spent most of the summer lingering on the free-agent market after a disappointing one-year stint with the Atlanta Falcons. He'll get another chance to rejuvenate his value in a familiar setting after agreeing to a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys confirmed Durant's signing on their official website on Monday. Rob Phillips from the team's official website reported the length of the deal for the linebacker, though financial terms were not disclosed.
The 30-year-old Durant recorded 82 tackles in 2015 with the Falcons. He appeared in 13 games, his highest number since 2012, but struggled as Atlanta's defense fell apart.
