Josh Gordon, Brice Butler and the red flags still waving on the Cowboys' offense

FRISCO -- The Cowboys feel better about the state of their offense than they did one week ago.

Much better? That would be a stretch.

The Cowboys aggressively took control of the game from the start and scraped together enough points against the New York Giants on Sunday night to keep the season from going south in a hurry. Once the offense did bog down for an extended stretch from late in the first quarter until early in the fourth, quarterback Dak Prescott came up with a 14-play, 82-yard touchdown drive to end any doubt.

As head coach Jason Garrett said Monday, there was "a lot of encouraging stuff" on offense in the team's 20-13 win.
