IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys continued to plug holes via free agency by signing offensive lineman Joe Looney to a two-year deal.
At the start of free agency, the Cowboys lost Mackenzy Bernadeau to the Jacksonville Jaguars after he spent the past two seasons as the backup center and guard on game days. Without Looney, the Cowboys could have looked to Zack Martin as the backup to Travis Frederick at center.
Looney was a fourth-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.
