Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones, as media reports noted Monday, will on the stage together at the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremonies in August.
The former Dallas Cowboys head coach will be in Canton, Ohio, on the first weekend of August as the presenter for former Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, part of the Hall Class of 2017.
Jones, who reignited a Cowboys dynasty after buying the franchise and installing Johnson as head coach in 1989, will be inducted in the contributor class.
Also in the seven-person class: running back LaDainian Tomlinson, the former TCU star, along with kicker Morten Andersen, running back Terrell Davis, safety Kenny Easley and quarterback Kur Warner.
