Tony Romo threw four passes in a short-relief appearance Sunday in a truly meaningless Cowboys-Eagles game. But he was the hot topic before and after the game in the Fox studio.
And leave it to Jimmy Johnson to try to stir it up. After the Eagles took down a skeletal Cowboys team, 27-13, Johnson, who draws a paycheck as a studio analyst, tried to shock life back into viewers subjected to too much Mark Sanchez trying to play quarterback for the Cowboys.
"I don't want to stir up controversy," said Johnson, using the faux disclaimer, "but in my opinion if Tony Romo was healthy and getting all the snaps, he might make more big plays than (Dak) Prescott.
