It appears the Cowboys may be trying to get a deal done with Dak Prescott sooner rather than later.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told SportsDay's Jon Machota on Saturday that the team is "in the activity of negotiating his contract."
Jerry Jones on Dak Prescott’s contract: “We’re in the activity of negotiating his contract. We have several in that category. There’s nothing notable about where we are or aren’t. It’s business as usual.”

Jones also said the Cowboys have had 'good communication' with defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence's representatives.
