Jerry Jones didn't provide any details on the club's negotiations with Dak Prescott, but the Cowboys owner did say he's happy with where discussions stand at the moment.
"We never really know where we are with anybody until we get one done.'' Jones said Thursday afternoon. "But we're moving along satisfactorily with all of our contract negotiations.''
One day earlier, Prescott told reporters that the Cowboys had made their initial offer and his representatives responded with a counter proposal. The quarterback said he can't really say where the two sides are beyond that and added that he's letting his representatives handle his business.
