FOXBORO -- Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones knew it was going difficult to win Sunday against the Patriots for a variety of reasons, but mostly because of New England coach Bill Belichick.
"The bottomline is that was a tough challenge," Jones said. "They know how to play this game, in this weather. Their team was masterful. Their coach was masterful ... It was a significant setback for our team. We need this win. We needed a win against an opponent like this and we haven't had one."
In rainy and windy conditions, the Cowboys lost 13-9 at Gillette Stadium, dropping to 6-5 on the season and still looking for their first win against a team with a winning record this season.
