FRISCO, Texas – Addressing earlier reports that veteran tight end Jason Witten is considering a move from football to broadcasting, Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Friday that Witten “has not made any decisions that are definite at this time” and “has some things to think about” regarding his professional future, at least through the weekend.
Jones gave a brief statement and did not take questions afterward “with respect to Jason and his wishes.”
“I’ve talked to several times this week. I have met with him, met with him as late as just a few hours ago and we’ve had great discussions,” Jones said.
