Tony Romo settled the Cowboys starting quarterback controversy on Nov. 15 when he delivered an articulate five-minute concession speech. Some lauded Romo for his poise, while others launched into trade possibilities for the 36-year-old veteran.
But Cowboys GM/owner Jerry Jones told the New York Daily News on Thursday that he has no plans to part with Romo any time soon - even if it means paying Romo $14 million to back up rookie quarterback Dak Prescott next year, and allowing him to count $24.7 million against the salary cap.
