If there’s been one bright spot for the Cowboys in this disastrous season, it’s been the emergence of second-year linebacker DeMarvion Overshown. After missing his entire rookie season due to a torn ACL last year, he has been a key contributor for the defense this season. The argument could be made that outside of Micah Parsons, he’s the best player in the front-seven of the defense. However, the worst thing imaginable happened Monday night, with Overshown appearing to have suffered another serious knee injury.
Overshown was helped off the field in the second half of Monday’s game and was very quickly ruled out with a knee injury.
