FRISCO, Texas -- While many folks wanted to complain about a non-pass interference call on Dez Bryant in the end zone early in Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, it was refreshing to see a game where the referees did not interject themselves too much.
Bill Vinovich’s crew had just five accepted penalties. The Dallas Cowboys were flagged just twice for 10 yards.
On Thursday, the Cowboys will see Jerome Boger as the referee when they play the Los Angeles Chargers. Since 2010, the Cowboys have been penalized nearly eight times a game in the six contests with Boger as the ref.
