OXNARD, Calif. – The most entertaining place to be after a Cowboys training camp practice is wherever Mike Pope is conducting drills.
Pope, who is in his second season as Cowboys tight ends coach, is taking part in his 34th NFL training camp. Over the years, he’s come up with roughly 500 different ways to create distractions for his players trying to catch a football.
The odd looking drills caught many eyes during last year’s camp and Pope has quickly picked up where he left off.
Through the first week of camp, here are my two favorites.
