In Jason Witten's new job as a Monday Night Football analyst, he'll have to be critical of players he knows well. That obviously includes current members of the Cowboys franchise he played alongside over the years.
During a Thursday conference call to unveil ESPN's new Monday Night Football crew, Witten was given his the opportunity to analyze Dallas' depth chart at tight end.
Witten was specifically asked about former teammates Geoff Swaim, Rico Gathers and Blake Jarwin.
"They haven't had a lot of opportunities to play, " Witten said. "But in the last week we've seen that Jerry [Jones] has come out and said he feels confident in this group.
