Longtime fans of the Dallas Cowboys have a full scope of the career of head coach Jason Garrett. The now 53-year-old Garrett was once the backup quarterback to Cowboys’ Hall of Famer Troy Aikman in Dallas.
Garrett spent seven seasons in Dallas. And after a spending three years with the New York Giants, along with short stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins, Garrett decided to hang up his cleats for good in 2004. He would then use his football knowledge as a professional backup quarterback to land himself a coaching gig.
