IRVING, Texas -- Jason Garrett made a trip to Ground Zero with his wife, Brill, over the summer when the idea came to him.
“I probably wasn’t there for 10 minutes and I kind of looked around and said ‘We’ve got to somehow, some way get our football team here,’” Garrett said.
So moved was Garrett by the experience that before the Dallas Cowboys play the New York Giants on Sunday, the team will visit the National September 11 Memorial Museum on Friday, flying up a day earlier than normal, and have a dinner at One World Observatory.
