OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey is expected to practice for the first time with his teammates at training camp on Sunday evening, coach Jason Garrett said.
Mincey still has to pass a physical before he can practice, Garrett said. The Cowboys coach also said that they will ease Mincey into practice because he hasn’t taken part in the team’s first three workouts.
Mincey has been holding out in hopes of receiving a contract extension. He arrived in Oxnard late Saturday and met with Garrett and Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones on Sunday.
