Is letting Dak Prescott play out his final year a smart move?

The Dallas Cowboys have put themselves in a corner with this Dak Prescott situation. Allowing the Philadelphia Eagles to sign quarterback Carson Wentz to a $128 million four-year extension. The new money comes out to $32 million per year which is about $2 million less than Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson’s $34 million per season.

Prescott seems to be willing to play out the season and prove that he is worth the money. But with that being said it looks like the Cowboys might have lucked out if that is the case.
