The 2014 Dallas Cowboys were likely one controversial play away from the NFC Championship game and two wins from a Super Bowl berth.
So the expectations for the Cowboys this season were justifiably higher than they’ve been in a long time.
But, like most things in life, things don’t always unfold as expected.
For the 2015 Cowboys, this season took a major nose dive after the loss of their starting quarterback, Tony Romo, in Week Two to a collarbone injury.
Although Romo looks to make his return this Sunday to face the Miami Dolphins, and hopefully save Dallas’ season, the Cowboys playoff chances appear slim at best.
