If Raiders game was dress rehearsal for Cowboys, go ahead and crown Cooper Rush the backup QB

ARLINGTON -- Cooper Rush still hasn't given the Cowboys any reason not to make him the backup quarterback.

And Dallas appears to be moving in that direction.

After Dak Prescott played the entire first half Saturday night against Oakland, the Cowboys didn't turn to Kellen Moore at quarterback. Instead, they put in Rush to start the third quarter.

Rush -- as has been the case all preseason -- didn't disappoint in his first chance to replace Prescott. Rush completed 12-of-13 passes in the second half for 115 yards and two touchdowns to rally the Cowboys past the Raiders, 24-20.
