If Cowboys wanted, they could dress fewer than 46 players today

PHILADELPHIA -- Is it possible to dress fewer than 46 players for a game?

If the Dallas Cowboys wanted to, they certainly could do that on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The weekly chore of figuring out inactive players can sometimes be difficult, with all the machinations that coaches have to consider. This week? Not so much.

Tyron Smith (knee), Morris Claiborne (groin), DeMarcus Lawrence (back), Cedric Thornton (ankle), Terrell McClain (ankle), Tyrone Crawford (shoulder, hamstring) and Justin Durant (elbow) are out.
