Some believed the Dallas Cowboys could return to the NFC playoffs this season after being eliminated in the second-to-last game of their 2017 campaign.
Jerry Jones’ team still might make it back to the postseason this coming January, and head coach Jason Garret may or may not get fired in during the year after his performances thus far.
But the latest forecast from Five Thirty Eight does not like the team’s playoff chances.
According to the site, the Cowboys have a 30 percent chances of earning a postseason spot and 21 percent chance of winning the NFC East.
