IRVING -- Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott candidly confessed last week that he felt "a little bit shell-shocked" by the pace and intensity of his first session with the whole team during organized team activities.
Expectations on the No. 4 draft pick, of course, are colossal.
But the running back has to look only to Darren McFadden, his competition and colleague, to find someone who gets it.
Oakland used the No. 4 pick on McFadden in the 2008 draft. And though the Cowboys' selection of Elliott likely signals a decreased role for McFadden, who ranked as the NFL's fourth-leading rusher last season, the veteran said he's willing to offer guidance to the former Ohio State star.
