GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Corey Linsley spent one year with Ezekiel Elliott at Ohio State. And Linsley -- Green Bay's starting center -- had a hunch Elliott was going to be a star.
"We knew he was going to be special," Linsley said after the Packers defeated the New York Giants 38-13 on Sunday to advance to a divisional playoff game with the Cowboys. "He's an effort guy. He truly is. We knew he could be a great one."
Jake Ryan, an inside linebacker at Michigan and now in Green Bay, went head-to-head against Elliott twice in college and once in the NFL.
