When older players hit the market there is always a hope that they’ll sign a veteran minimum deal to join the Dallas Cowboys. This hope is typically never realized.
Last Saturday night word broke that the Cowboys managed to land a veteran for their secondary in George Iloka. He gives them more flexibility at safety, heck he gives them a safety in general, and the domino effect of him joining the team could be better for other guys involved like Jeff Heath (who can now focus more on special teams).
Contract numbers have emerged for Iloka and what do you know, he signed for the veteran minimum!
