The big names are now, for the most part, off the board in free agency and the Dallas Cowboys are stuck finding themselves maneuvering through the mid level remaining free agents trying to find the best remaining value.
We should not be shocked by the Cowboys lack of aggressiveness as this has been their approach to free agency for the last couple seasons. But the amount of departures they have seen since the free agency window has opened has left a lot of question marks.
The departures of defensive lineman Benson Mayowa, linebackers Anthony Hitchens and Kyle Wilber, cornerback Orlando Scandrick, backfield mates Alfred Morris and Keith Smith, guard Jonathan Cooper and wide receiver Brice Butler have decimated the depth of the Cowboys roster.
