Michael Gallup won’t be continuing his career beyond the Dallas Cowboys after all. The veteran wide receiver, who signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in late April, has surprisingly retired.
Gallup was released by Dallas last March. He struggled to recover from a 2021 ACL injury, with the real issue being the $57 million contract he was given during the 2022 offseason. After two years of hoping Gallup would bounce back, the Cowboys made him a salary cap casualty this offseason. He signed with the Raiders on April 30th just after the NFL draft.
