OXNARD, Calif. -- If Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones is selected for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Feb. 4, 2017, then he has a request.
"The recognition, jacket whatever it is, it's got to fit the family," Jones said, "because everybody pitched in from that standpoint to make this go."
The Cowboys have been a family-run business since the day Jones purchased the team on Feb. 25, 1989.
Jones' oldest son, Stephen, is the chief operating officer, executive vice president and director of player personnel. His daughter, Charlotte Anderson, is an executive vice president and chief brand officer as well as an influential voice to the league office.
