ARLINGTON, Texas – For the first time in his NFL career, Alfred Morris is inactive.
With the return of Daren McFadden, the Dallas Cowboys decided to de-activate Morris for tonight’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Morris is the Cowboys’ second-leading rusher behind Ezekiel Elliott with 231 yards on 61 carries and two touchdowns, but in the last four games he has not had more than two carries. He did not have a carry last week against the New York Giants.
Morris had played in the first 77 games of his career, including the first 64 (all starts) with the Washington Redskins.
