Earlier this week, I predicted Dallas Cowboys middle linebacker Rolando McClain would led America’s Team in tackles against the Miami Dolphins. Although McClain was two shy of that mark, he was certainly Dallas’ defensive MVP in this game. His second quarter interception for a pick six was the first score of the game on either side and gave the early momentum to the Cowboys.
The twice-retired 26-year old linebacker struggled earlier this season after serving a four-game suspension due to violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. McClain also had his knee scoped in the offseason, which also likely contributed to his slow start.
