FRISCO, Texas -- If Ezekiel Elliott scores a touchdown on Monday night against the Detroit Lions, don’t look for the Dallas Cowboys' rookie running back to reprise his celebration with the over-sized Salvation Army kettle.
“I think I had one get out of jail free card,” Elliott said. “I used it already.”
But he does wish he could do it again. He is fearful of a fine from the NFL after the league chose not to fine him after his two-yard touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“You know it’s kind of sad because something I looked forward to just getting to the NFL growing up was just being able to have more fun, the rules loosen up, being able to celebrate,” Elliot said.
