Dak Prescott hasn’t been the Cowboys’ main problem this season.
Jerry Jones said so on Thursday.
“He’s long-term,” Jones told USA TODAY Sports while in New York this week for NFL owners meetings. “Anything we need to see and need to know, I see with him.”
Prescott’s rookie deal will be up after next season. And given the going rate for quarterbacks in the NFL, the Mississippi State product is going to be due a significant raise in his next contract.
But in discussing that future negotiation, Jones also compared Prescott to former Cowboys quarterbacks’ Tony Romo and Troy Aikman.
