Elliott will miss workouts after getting injured in car accident

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will be held out of some organized team activities after being injured in a car accident.

Elliott, the NFL’s rookie of the year and a Pro Bowler last season, suffered a bump on his head while being a passenger in a car involved in an accident earlier this week. No more details were available.

The Cowboys have the first of three OTA phases at The Star in Frisco this week.
