Another day, another legal filing in Ezekiel Elliott's fight with the NFL.
The NFL on Monday filed a motion for a stay of the injunction that's currently keeping Elliott on the field while his six-game suspension is fought in court. Elliott and the NFL Players Association had until 5 p.m. Wednesday to respond. Now the NFL will have until Friday to respond to what the NFLPA said.
Then judge Amos Mazzant, who issued the injunction in the first place, will rule.
The NFL has made it clear that it will file a motion for an emergency stay with the 5th U.
