Eight months later, Greg Hardy question remains same for Cowboys

IRVING, Texas – When the Dallas Cowboys signed Greg Hardy to a one-year deal with no guaranteed money last March, the question was simple: Is it worth it?

Eight months later, with Hardy getting ready to play against his former team, the Carolina Panthers, on Thursday at AT&T Stadium the question is slightly different: Has it been worth it?

At the time of the signing, the Cowboys thought they had insurance that Hardy would act correctly because he had to earn his money. He makes $578,125 in per-game roster bonuses just being on the 53-man roster.
