Jim Nantz had not even concluded his play-by-play description of the scary hit laid upon Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott when Prescott's predecessor, Tony Romo, a.k.a. Dr. Romo, interjected his stunningly quick and profound diagnosis.
Trailing Washington 7-0 in the first quarter, the Cowboys faced third-and-6 from their 42. Prescott dropped back to pass, was flushed from the pocket, spun nearly 360 degrees and raced toward the left sideline and, he hoped, the first-down marker.
Nantz: "He's going to dive still well short of the first ... "
Romo: "Oh, no, he's ... "
Nantz: "Quite a hit.
