Does signing Allen Hurns signal the end of Dez Bryant in Dallas? The WR conundrum Cowboys must solve

New Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns quickly made it clear Friday that he's not coming to town looking to replace No. 88.

The Cowboys didn't sign Hurns because they're releasing Dez Bryant. At least that's not part of Dallas' immediate plans.

"Not sure what number I'll be rocking yet," Hurns tweeted, "but that 88 all Dez."

Signing Hurns doesn't necessarily push Bryant off the roster, but the former 1,000-yard receiver does give the Cowboys more leverage to use in trying to get Bryant to take a pay cut this offseason.

The Cowboys have said they will address Bryant's contract at some point.
