FRISCO -- There could be one striking reason why the Rams were able to run the ball all over the Cowboys' previously formidable rush defense in Dallas' latest divisional-round playoff loss Saturday night.
Los Angeles knew what was coming.
According to Rams offensive linemen who opened up to The Ringer, LA picked up on tells by the Cowboys' defensive line while scouting ahead of the game. The way certain linemen set up, such as if under-tackle Maliek Collins positioned himself closer to the tackle or guard, indicated stunts were coming.
Stunts are when linemen attack gaps other than the ones they are lined up in front of in order to stress an offensive line and get in the backfield.
