Remember earlier this year when social media was ablaze with rumors of a damning video of Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant in a Wal-Mart parking lot?
The Dallas Morning News reported in February that the Lancaster police department stated there was no video of the incident.
Jeff Pash, the NFL’s executive vice president and general counsel, confirmed that to Newsday on Friday.
“We investigated and we did not find a video,’’ Pash said.
An open records request shows that on the morning of July 11, 2011, Lancaster police responded to the report of a disturbance in a Wal-Mart parking lot near Bryant’s home.
