A little over a week since his major knee injury, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown has had surgery and will begin rehabilitation. After reports that Overshown could miss the entire 2025 season given the severity and long recovery period, the Dallas Cowboys have received a very positive update which could mean their rising defensive star returns sooner than expected.
In Week 14, against the Bengals on Monday Night Football, Overshown tore multiple knee ligaments when his right leg was trapped underneath a falling Cincinnati offensive lineman. It ended a breakout season for the second-year stud, who was emerging as Dallas’ second-best defensive player behind Micah Parsons.
