The Cowboys will see a familiar face in Denver when they take on the Broncos in Week 2 of the 2017 NFL regular season. DeMarcus Ware, who played 9 of his 12 record-breaking seasons with the Cowboys, will be honored by his other NFL employer – the Broncos – during the Cowboys-Broncos game in Denver on September 17th.
DeMarcus Ware officially retired as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, but he played his final three NFL seasons in Denver and won a Super Bowl ring with the Broncos. He finished his 12-year career with 138 ½ sacks, eighth most in league history.
