IRVING, Texas – As Dez Bryant moves closer to returning from right foot surgery, he can look at teammate defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence for guidance.
As a rookie Lawrence had the same surgery as Bryant, complete with a screw and bone graft, on his right foot that kept him out of the first eight games of the 2014 season. While he missed 12 weeks of action with surgery in training camp, Lawrence was ready to go after seven weeks but he was on the injured reserve/designated to return list and not eligible to play.
