The Dallas Cowboys decision to trade down from No. 24 with the Detroit Lions, and then draft the offensive tackle out of Oklahoma Tyler Guyton with the 29th overall pick in the first-round, fills a major roster need. They now have their future LT to replace Tyron Smith and hopefully lock down the position for the foreseeable future.
They still have a lot of work to do though. The selections they make in the second and third rounds on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft could be equally as impactful as the selection of Guyton.
