OXNARD, Calif. – The Cowboys ended Tuesday’s practice with kicker Dan Bailey lining up for a 50-yard field goal. Bailey, who is nearly 90 percent on field goals for his career, missed wide right.
It was a rare sight for the first couple weeks of training camp. Bailey has been very accurate, only missing three through 11 days of work.
A typical practice session for Bailey has pretty much been drilling everything between 30 and 50 yards. And many have hit the camera stand set up dead center of the uprights.
But Bailey maintains that he’s not aiming for the camera operator.
