Damien Wilson Grateful To Be Back At Practice After Freak Paintball Injury

OXNARD, Calif. – Linebacker Damien Wilson delivered would-be tackles on Darius Jackson and Dak Prescott on consecutive plays Monday in his first training camp practice, having spent the first two and a half weeks on the Non-Football Injury list with a right eye injury sustained before camp in a freak paintball accident.

Wilson said the vision in his right eye is restored.

“I had a lot of blood clouding my cornea and that was really blocking my vision,” he said. “I had to wait for that blood to clear up, and then I was on these dilating drops and I had to wait for my eye to get back to normal and now it is.
