Cowboys fans will likely hold onto Heath’s rookie season as an indicator of the type of player he is. Simply put, most fans aren’t being logical. Heath was an undrafted free agent that made the team and was thrust into a starting role too soon.
He wasn’t ready, but he is now.
For a defense lacking many true ball-hawks, Heath could bring a huge spark.
