When running back DeMarco Murray signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency, it seemed like a matter of time until the Dallas Cowboys addressed the position. The Cowboys signed former first round pick Darren McFadden, but completely neglected the position in the draft.
Once upon a time, McFadden was supposed to be a star in the league. However, a rash of injuries, poor line play, and some deficiencies of his own caused Oakland to move on. McFadden’s name recognition has made him a popular pick as the lead dog, however, there are better options on the depth chart and around the league.
